Stress Advice (One to One)

Who is this for?

People with real concerns about stress in their own lives.

Background

Participants from Stop Paddling courses are often asking for `one to one support' beyond that offered by regular email contact and group activities.

This structured programme of advice is designed for people wanting to really understand what stress is all about, and who are prepared to make significant changes that will free them from a life plagued by stress.

How you participate

The advice is delivered on a one to one basis. There are no special meeting room requirements and any mutually agreed venue is suitable. In the time between each session you will be practising what you have learnt and reporting back on progress. Ideally there should be frequent contact by email with the trainer.

Objectives

Identify where the individual's stress is coming from.

Identify some of the individual's current good and poor coping strategies.

Change behaviours to initially cushion the effects of stress and then reduce/eliminate the most significant sources of stress.

Benefits to your business

Whatever line of work you are in, you are going to be working better when you are less stressed.

Time for a session

Up to six sessions, each of 1 hour duration.

Ideally these will be spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart.

Suggested number of participants

This is designed for confidential `one to one' sessions.

Things to consider before booking

Are you prepared to change the way you think and act?

Will you set extra time aside to do exercises, such as listening to relaxation tapes and a little background reading?
